Did you know that the Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition is a state preliminary competition of the Miss America Organization which is the largest provider of scholarships exclusively for women? It's true! When you compete within the Miss America Organization umbrella, you not only have the opportunity to win scholarships to further for your education, we guarantee you will make lasting friendships and have memories that last a lifetime in this life-changing experience.

To become a candidate, you must:

  • Miss: 18 years -28 years  (Born in these years -2005 -1995 year)  

  • To clarify, the contestant must 28 in the year she wins her state title, and is eligible to compete for Miss America at any point in the upcoming national competition, even if she turns 29 in January of 2024.

  • Be a United States citizen

  • Meet residency requirements for competing in a certain city or state

  • Meet character criteria as set forth by the Miss America Organization

  • Be in reasonably good health to meet the job requirements

  • Be able to meet the time commitment and job responsibilities as set forth by the local, state and national competition(s) in which you compete
